Whaat the hell is going on?

The entire server (as far as I can tell from input from guildies) has been hit with *massive* lag spikes throughout the last few days. The one happening currently I believe may have just crashed me (and killed me, for about the eighth time today).

Can someone shine some light on this situation? Its making quad kiting/ae kiting impossible >.<

*Edit* Until just now, all of the servers (or most of them) were down? DDoS possibly?

prob an eq emu issue if it's all servers since i'm pretty sure the servers are all hosted at different places.

Yeah, EQEmu's site went down and was unreachable at the same time P99 took a fall. Thanks Amelinda for hopping on and rezzing folks.
