Name Re-use

So how long does it generally take to be able to re use a name you had on another char?

I made a paladin named Titanas and leveled him to 14 and realized I should have made him a better race so I remade him and named him Drehar which is another name I commonly use for my toons.

I'm Making a druid now and I deleted my 14 paladin Titanas so I could have the name for my druid, because thats my #1 RPG name. When I try to put the name in for my druid it says name has been rejected by the server.

Any one able to shed some light on this for me?

Its always been instant for me.

I just tried it and made a char named Titanas, so the name frees up fairly quick.

it kept saying name not valid for me
and still says this is not a valid name or what ever
