Establishment left?
The Conservatives have been in power for 10 years. They've stripped the country and sold it out. 1/5 of the children live in poverty to make it the sixth richest country on earth. Before them we had wanna be Conservative New Labour who were little better and before that Thatchers lot that destroyed Britain's industry to make the country a bankers haven. Don't forget the banker bailout instead of saving the people. The NHS is being sold off chunk by chunk. Welfare safety nets and pensions disappear and dieing people are forced to work. We're ruled by a bloody monarch to top it off. You have to be kidding me to say the establishment is left. Billionaire mongols own the media and make the people dance to the establishment's tune which is cuts and austerity and scapegoating all the government and social failures onto outsiders. They rule through divide and conquer.

The US has edged left wing over the last 30 years as well when you consider spending, social issues, immigration. We haven’t swung to the right on these in over 30 years Our line was more middle ground in the 90s. We’ve shifted left on those issues since then. And the UKs right wing is to the left of that. That’s the game they play in the UK. Choose between our extreme left candidate or just one that is slightly left wing. Nice choices your banker elites give you peasants.

Jim I want you to do the same with the UK that I’ve done with the US. It will clarify this discussion. You’re better to do this because you know specifics about us better than me too.
Take 3 fields. Spending, immigration and social issues. Take a look at how the UK was in 1995. Write down what was going on with all these 3 things. Then compare to 2019. Has there been a shift to the left in spending? Meaning, is there more money being spent now? How much more? Conserving money is a conservative position. This one is easy to figure out. Immigration? What do the numbers look like in comparison to 1995? Are you opening the borders increasingly to become liberal with immigration or the numbers staying about the same or going the other way? Social issues? How is lgbt treated compared to 1995. Did your country shift left or right since 1995. This will give you perspective on your country’s shift during your life time.
