Anyone watch the Chauvin trial today?
How did the prosecution establish Floyd's girlfriend's relevance to the case? Did defense make any objections for lack of of foundation(relevant for potential appeal of the trial)? Did the defense actually ask her about floyd's recent drug use and did they ask about whether he really was "claustrophobic" as he claimed he was-- just shortly after being pried out of a tiny ass compact?.

I heard that the Police department trained the officers to kneel on the necks of people resisting arrest. Can anyone confirm this is true?

It seemed like they were questioning her about her and his drug use and if she knew about his past heroine use which she didn't. She mentioned his abuse was an ongoing problem for a while.
I hate it when people fall into drugs. I recently lost a cousin to this shit. I don't remember if claustrophobia was mentioned. I don't think it was.

Here's the toxicology report, shows both meth and fentanyl https://famous-trials.com/george-flo...icology-report This can affect your heart rate and breathing, and it's possible being restrained in the manner her was might have also been a contributing factor. He was able to speak which means his breathing probably wasn't restricted, but his ability to get enough oxygen might have been affected due to the drugs and potentially restricted blood flow due to being restrained the way he was. Not a doctor, but that's just my thoughts on the matter.

Can't wait until Chauvin is acquitted. Weakest prosecution I've ever seen in any high profile trial.
