Default Crash on zone/log off after chardok patch

I am running windows XP 8.1, never had an issue other than the occasional crash maybe 5% of the time, now I crash extremely often after chardok patch. Sometimes I zone fast, sometimes mega slow, and other times crash all together. Anyone have any tips or tricks to fix this? I have scoured the forums and found nothing useful yet. Thanks!
