For everyone arguing that it is fine to play on a 60 person server because "you cant possibly play with all 60 of them"

you know it takes less than 45 mins for a semi-competent individual to set up their own EQ Emu server, right? Can get to 60 and make end-game bosses have 1hp with a few clicks of the mouse! Wow! Imagine the loot you could get that bluebies couldn't see in years!

Amaze!

Guess the "Wipe it clean." and "If they did it my way." as well as, let's not forget, "This isn't true classic PvP." crowd are not even semi-competent.

They sure are good at whining though.

game is simply better with low pop and better exp rates. you get to actually do cool stuff and play the fucking game since everything isn't camped 24/7.

why not just edit a magelo and be happy with that? same kind of achievement, less effort, and an outsider might actually see it unlike your r99 chars

Reality is all the blubie terrible EQ players that populate red99 now chain petitioning people for PvPing should be on PEQ server or Hidden Forest. They fail to see that they are the actual problem with the server. Imagine those sorts of players that takes them half a day to figure out how to connect to EQEmu servers, and play with default UI all scrambled over screen as its been15 years since they last played EQ.

Only reason they rolled on red99 is because they read somewhere that red99 has 290% group xp so rolled a toon on the server and think it's great. Then someone PvPs them so they get angry and /petition it then some Blue GM logs in and /suspends the player who PvPed them.

Red99 is a product of these sorts of players - and currently what populates it. It's basically a very special snowflake server.

Then mix in the last remaining vets who are so desperate to cling on to their pixels and be something that they run around PLing and giving out newbie items to people like most of the snowflakes posting in this thread to convince them this is great server. It's a false sense of achievement and only snowflakes think its great.
