After installing Everquest Titanium:

Did you have issues understanding the Getting Started thread? Did you require technical assistance, or were you able to figure it out yourself?

I'm interested to know how many players would benefit from an automated patch process.

Having installed it all fairly recently for the first time its all still quite fresh, the biggest hurdle for me was sourcing titanium and feeling somewhat concerned about the source of it. I fear that's going to be the case for most.

I do however think that and automated patcher would entice more in that are on the fence.

Has there been any exchange between yourselves and Daybreak about an official titanium download?

Personally, I had no issue. But, I've had to set up EQ & P99 a couple of times for technophobic friends of mine. So my vote goes to "needed assistance"

The moment my friend told me about it I was on the server the second I got the client installed. No issues here.

Took a long time trying to help trouble shoot install issues with RL friends. They were not able to get any forum support because their new accounts had to be approved. Took 2-3 days for their technical discussion post to be approved before it got any views and eqemu website is not very user friendly for setting up p99.

While early indications suggest most of our playerbase encountered little to no difficulty, I do not believe our playerbase is representative of p99's potential player awe and therefore believe the project might benefit from an automated patch process. The question is, do we want more players? ^^

Everquest is the reason I got into computers. Setup was a breeze.

Mounting CD images was the hardest bit but I'd already done that for other things elsewhere so it wasn't too tricky to remember once I got a program to do it.
