Greetings P99ers,

I'm Paul, posting to introduce myself to the community. I played Everquest originally in 1999 and 2000 while visiting my sister and having access to her BF EQ account. Played his bard, rolled an SK, I would play every time I visited them over the course of a year or so. It made a lasting impression. Fast forward to PoP release when I made the transition from D2 to EQ, it was right when I joined the Navy and was an awesome way to keep in touch with friends. I played thereafter an inky SK from PoP to GoD, I obtained greenmist, epic 1.0, and epic 1.5 before moving on. Archfiend Loviaroth on Lanys T'Vyl <Monarchy of the Dead> if anyone recalls.
What I long for? That initial MMORPG experience, one where you get lost in a world, no one to hold your hand, meeting players to help, and befriending them. Everquest is a unique experience, it's a game that you don't need to play with a friend, you make them while playing, those relationships end up being long lived in this game. In a time that we are losing our humanity, it is extremely nice to return to a 'community'. I look forward to playing with you all.

I wish I had a character name to drop, but I'm waiting on my Titanium edition to be delivered.

Oh btw I picked a gnarly virus from the pirate bay trying to DL the CD ISO's...It actually destroyed my HD, which 'made' me buy a refurbied Alienware to play 1999. (I know my fault for not scanning, but there's your warning)
