If you're using the "launch titanium.bat" file to start your game (or a shortcut to that file) right click and edit it (or open it in notepad) and change the text to what Ashintar stated.

I just want to add with these things you are always better off NOT installing to System32 or whatever. Make your own P1999 directory somewhere on the drive not in any system or windows folder and install to that. Windows treats the default directories as special, so you wind up having permissions issues when you want to edit files.

Well, some of us aren't able to edit the Launch Titanium bat file, like myself. Says I require admin and I can't change it to admin. If I try to bypass the batch file and just launch eqgame.exe ( since eqgame.exe patchme doesn't exist ) it simply says, "Please run EverQuest.exe"

Ok, I've done a clean install into a completely separate folder on my C: drive called P99 Green. Then I went through all these steps, but I for the life of me can not find any such file called eqgame.exe patchme. The only file in the folder is just eqgame.exe, so what is this patchme?

Yep, nothing I do will launch the game now. Editing Launch Titanium does nothing. Bypassing it and clicking on eqgame.exe directly does nothing. This is rather funny as I was literally just playing a few hours ago and now I can't play on any of the servers.

I am having the same issue. Edited the launchtitanium.bat file to the correct path. But now nothing happens when I click it.

Added a pause on the next line after the start path and for some reason that made it work.
