Default Velious giant(s) solo spot?

Hello there,

I'm a 57 magician who loves to solo. I like hunting in Skyshrine for some exp and a chance to get some nice loot. After a while my faction got hurt, so I got to raise it up before killing some more wurms to avoid getting KoS. In your opinion, what's the best (for exp and/or loot) velious giant camp that a level 57 mage can solo? Is there anything interesting in Kael?

Thanks!

There's some nice random drops in the arena area, the problem is I don't think a 57 mage is going to be able to get past the gatekeeper mobs to get in there too easily.

If you could manage it...

Very rare drops but there's a chance and there's faction at the same time. Like with anything else though, things anywhere in Velious that are easily obtainable solo - the price just tails off.

The alternative is to join (or even start) the grind you see out in Wakening Lands at the Kael entrance sometimes, no notable XP but Netflix it up and send the pet in.

Not so fun, but 4way is an easy solo spot... The safe spot is great to med and fight without caring about adds

The old answer was Wakening Lands, and I'm pretty sure a Mage could solo a lot of the ones outside. But since they nerfed faction, out there, I imagine killing inside is faster ... (although I imagine WL is still faster than Great Divide, Eastern Wastes, etc.) ...

... the only problem is that the inside mobs are far more "clumped", which would make things hard for a Mage. Duoing (-plus) is really probably your best bet inside, but maybe someone else knows of a bunch of separate ones somewhere in Kael?

Just hang out at the 4 way a 57 magician can solo two giants at once there with a full bar of mana. Once broke it’ll be smooth sailing. avoid Bvellos at all costs, anything with sergeant or lieutenant in its name can drop quest armor, giant warrior helmets are great for boosting faction or sell for 100pp a pop. GL have fun and sirrocco the fuck out of those giants super efficient on singles only unless you go bets tho!

Just another question: Where exactly is the safe spot?
