Continuing to post and flail, nice goodbye post.
I love the crocodile tears and stuff when they make classic changes. Population only went up and kept people around as they made said changed. Druid track nerf and removing maps/compass was a good one, surprised anyone cares about cringe Luclin stuff so much. See you on Green, bud. | ||

The reason the P99 community can appear “toxic”(I really hate this overused buzz word) to people from outside the classic trilogy is mostly two reasons:
First: Reverting everything back to how it functioned and appeared around launch day is literally the only purpose of the project. Not to make a server that caters to as many people as possible, or a game that functions in a balanced manor. When you ask for things like custom UIs or Luclin models your wishes run counter to mission #1 of the server. So the first reaction is usually either you don’t know or don’t care about the mission statement of the server. People on these forums (understandably, I think) get frustrated with either of these possibilities, especially given their frequency. Second: Many people who play here (my self included) consider Luclin to be the expansion that “ruined” EverQuest. It literally broke their favorite toy when they were children. I think that’s enough to make some people particularly hostile to anything.
