Default Fog in Nekelous?

Even as a dark elf there is a yellowish green wall that I cant see anything past that is only like 50 feet from me, this does not seem classic, and it replaces the nice looking fog we had previously. Is this a bug?

There's something funny going on with the clipping planes, I've noticed no problems in some zones others report issues with, and I've had some issues in zones others have reported as normal.

I had the weird far clip plane in Feerrott, Oggok, and Innothule until I turned the sky off. Now I can see fine everywhere.
