CazicTouch was resistable
Classic Spdat.eff files have CazicTouch as a Magic resist check, and I have found several independent mentions of people resisting it in era.
It should be resistable, albeit rarely. From the newsgroups: Quote:

I know up until some point you couldn't make npcs / PC immune to spells or spells unresistable, instead they gave npcs 32000 resist or in the case of cazic touch possibly a -32000 resist check. Possible that modifiers could have been kept server side as there is evidence for that on other spells and dev commentary in era.
There are other cases like this of harmony failing, tash, etc due to this mechanic, albeit extremely rarely. Not sure if dev team here want to replicate to be honest. Guessing it would be a lot of work. | ||

I would see it as one of those easter egg thingies. It should be extremely rare, like 1 in 1000 chance of resist or something ridiculous. But something fun to provoke war stories and discussion.
