There are so many places to level in Everquest at any point in the leveling experience. Spectres are one of the most heavily camped spots in game, thats to be expected. Kaesora library, you just got unlucky. EVerytime I go down there, theres crickets, and theres more than just the library in kaesora. If you're a necro get ur self a charmed skelly and explore deeper down at 40, its probably better exp more towards the church anyway.

As I said, there are countless places to exp in this game. im sure you'll find some good tips here, but also feel free to check out the per level hunting guide.

This is the time to explore... find the real ever quest. OoT theirs an island of specters. guards in all the cites are fear kite able for you, you need to wonder around all of norrath enjoy the game off the beaten path and a necro can solo almost any where.

Thanks, do you know if its hard to acquire the key for the second floor? Thats the main thing holding me back. Otherwise, I love Velious content.

OP you've already got some very good spots for your specific class/level, but just in general if you're looking for ideas that are "off the beaten path" I highly recommend looking at the Per-Level Hunting Guide (link in my signature).

You can solo in TOFS for a long time.

Take the time, get the keys, and enjoy. Duo with other necros that go there.

Yeti's in dreadlands are really good exp at 40 and there are almost always plenty to go around. Sol a also good in goblin castle. Lower guk also good and not many people. Just echoing what others have said, go and explore some more, you won't feel a real population crunch until 56 plus.

Nah its super easy! All keys but the last key are pretty darn easy to get.. Just gotta kill until one drops, but if you're there for EXP then what's the rush! Also if you get the chance- Try and loot Tserinna's key. She's the head honcho in that zone, and often times her key, and items rot. If you're lucky, somebody will escort you up there to loot it!! I've only killed her a hand full of times, but i'd say 3/5 times i've seen that staff drop and just rot. Maybe you could find a use for it?
