Blurry text

I recently installed on a different comp. I'm just using default UI, and although the graphics look fine, everything in the UI is blurry, especially irritating in the chat box. Already tried /loadskin default 1. Any help would be appreciated

I'm having the same issue. Anyone else have any tips? Game looks visually great, chat boxes are terrible.

Happened when I went to 8.1 and updated nvidea drivers for sli laptop.

If your visual settings in EQ do not match the native resolution of your monitor, you can get blurry text. like if I down shift from 1080p to 720p, I will have this issue

Most of the time when I get this it is because the AA is cranked up and the video drivers are trying to anti-alias the text. Do you have Adaptive Multisampling or Supersampling turned on in the video drivers?

You can run AA on the basic setting, but if you turn on the more advanced filters they start trying to fix the text as well and it gets fuzzy. Stick with just a basic 2x 4x 8x or whatever dont add on any of the fancy higher quality options.

I still have this problem go from 1600x1024 with no blurry text to 1920x1080 with blurry text. Tried above posts suggestions nothing worked.

I can drag the UI tabs (chat windows, inventory items , target window, etc )and place them back to normal spot and chats cleared up. But again chat windows will continue to give blurry text here and there as new lines of text come in.

It drives me nuts and makes it so I cannot play full screen.. have to use 1600x1024 with like 4 or 5 inches not being used on my monitor.

This is because you have large icons enabled

On Windows 7 it's Right click Desktop -> Personalize -> Display -> Click Smaller 100% (default). Anything larger will blur the UI.
