Default Toxxulia Forest - Classic Times

One classic aspect p99 launched without was disabling Paineel until the appropriate point in the timeline.

Traditionally, it was released in February 2000.

***Announcements***
The City of Paineel, home to the infamous Heretics of Erudin, is now
available via the Optional Patch. In addition, Erudites may now also be
Shadowknights in addition to the other classes available to them. All
Erudite Necromancers, Shadowknights, and Clerics who worship the God of
Fear, Cazic-Thule, now start in the City of Paineel. As such, if you
wish to create a character of this type from this point forward, you
*must* download the Paineel zone-files via the Optional Patch.
Please note that if you downloaded the Paineel zone files recently, you
must run the Optional Patch again to insure you have the correct
version of the files.
Part of my ongoing recreation of p99 is content being accurate even if it has passed on our current timeline. If/when specifics are available, the content is fixed for later. In the event we open another server from the beginning, it behooves us to create on/off switches for those times.

So I have some questions about original Tox:

Until that patch in February 2000, evil Erudite necromancers spawned in Tox at the heretics hut.. noted by #6 on the map below (thanks steveprutz):

How long after that patch did the Heretic GMs remain in the hut?

Where were the evil cleric GMs?

According to the oldest modern research (eqmac), the hut is abandoned and ran by abandoned heretic pets.

Referencing the old showeq logs, the following npcs were present at the time the logs were captured:
Marzus Demsion
Norliss Nancer
Ubarsti Respelti
Yinxia Noderlus
Pluxia Vaktus
Gorjhin Sorqez
Illstara Frillep
Plestil Vroce
Wrebbin Brist
Talrigar Eklorin

Maybe more than that, but the above is a list of necromancer gms and shopkeepers around their area.

Should these npcs still exist in Kunark? Were they removed in February of 2000? I have no personal recollection of these guys as I didn't explore that area.. ever.

If the npcs should still exist at this point, I will add them and their quests. For example, Marzus Demsion has a quest for killing the now derelict Rungupp.

heretic prophets - missing npcs which should still exist in the zone. I am going to add them, but have no information regarding their appearance. Brief discussion on allakhazam (in 2002) speaks of them being triggered from killing the abandoned heretic pets. This was not the case on eqmac, or I couldn't make it work.

If anyone has information regarding the above, or about classic Tox in general, your input is requested.

Thanks.
