Sontalak casts fire and fear, so put up looking for group (/lfg) for buffs and get as many hit points, fire, and magic resists as you can. Always attack him from the back. If he flips, stop attacking and reposition as soon as possible before you resume your attacks. Please don't use pets.

The easiest way to get there is with levitate, invis, and a ride to Cobalt Scar. Run over the water until you zone into Siren's Grotto and get evacuated across to Western Wastes. Reapply levitate and invis and dodge any named dragons if you are KOS on your way over to the Temple of Veeshan scar.
