Non-classic changes proposal to get rid of RMT

We have asked for plat sinks in the past and been denied.
Even something as simple as a merchant selling illusion potions for high prices , would eat so much plat.
With potions you do not ruin any part of the server as once they are used they also disappear.
make them single use and disappears.

Or if you wanna up it more , have them sale things like DE mask for 500k-1 million plat.

But probably won't happen so enjoy inflation.

I can tell you the guilds competing for the high end Velious targets go through 50-100k weekly on recharges. (This isn't even including a Sontalak attempt) Other guilds also go through a decent amount doing mallets and WC caps I'm sure. The amount of raw platinum coming into the economy (Hill Giants, Seafuries, Velious Junk Gems) doesn't outpace this. Inflation really isn't that bad right now.

If they unclassicly nerf vendor recharging it would get bad though.

the servers were both stuck on kunark for years. there are no cash sinks in everquest outside of raiding commodities (many less on red bc no recharging,) plat inflates over time. expensive items don't exist because of rmt.

The game doesn't have much, if at all, plat sinks. I'm not sure why you're quick to blame it on RMT (something the owners of this server actually manage pretty well). It's far more likely the fault of faulty MMO design of the 90s.
