Saddest EQ lore moment for you?
I know I shouldn't be posting gloomy topics during a global pandemic, so if you're not feeling so well, maybe this is not a good question to you.
Years ago, when I first killed the cyclopses Broon and Proon in East Karana, this one really hit home: When Proon dies he says: Quote:

I don’t know about saddest, but I’ve always enjoyed the lore of ToFS. Mayong Mistmoore locks up his bride (Tserrina) after making her into a vampire and finding her too ugly. Irony.

Tofs is an allegory for Everquest. The debased addict players are the bride. Verant/Sony is the abusive vampire constructing the labyrinth.
