Best Melee for Solo Artist Challenge Period?!!

Trivonus's post got me thinking... which melee truly is the absolute best for doing the solo artist challenge?


I do see some occasional youtube videos of a monk soloing Chottal, King, Dragon or whatnot, but they have the absolute best possible raid gear in every slot in game. I do understand that given every possible clicky and advantage, maybe monk might be top dog. However, my question is more nuanced.


Given a lvl 60 character with decent gear (Cloak of Flames, Fungi, Zlandicar's Claw (or Tranquil Staff or equivalent) and pretty okay-ish gear (at least Fear gear and above), what melee class would be strongest for tackling the solo artist challenge? Guess my question boils down to who is the strongest high-end solo melee class for non-batphone raider types?


Paladin or SK or Monk or Ranger or Rogue or Bard. What do you think?
