Default Tiny Jade Inlaid Coffin not stackable?

Tiny Jade Inlaid Coffin not stackable?

Just bought 2 from Nedorl Ipabrun in Paineel, and they do not stack (nor was I offered to buy multiples when clicking on to buy from him).

They do fit in a bag however (so it isn't somehow the bag size coffin for the level 39 spell).

Bump. These should be stackable:

Robe of the Bonecaster - Allakhazam

The effect is the Level 57 Corpse summoning spell, if it follows other effect that use components, it will still require the coffin... the good thing is that this spell uses the STACKABLE coffins that cost half the price, very handy indeed.
Here he is talking about how the Summon Corpse spell sucked because you couldn't get stacks of coffins like you can with Conjure Corpse.

I'd hope it would work prior to lev57. The only real bonus of the effect is not having to lug around the giant unstackable, not to mention HEAVY coffins, which are containers (meaning you can only have 8 on you at a time).

The bonus to the cleric epic is 6% more upon an exp rez and the use of no mana and an upgrade in the Rez line (well the last Rez available to clerics). Conjure corpse isn't as much an 'upgrade' (it summons your corpse just as well as the lev39 version of it, whereas the 56 Rez is not as effective as the lower level Rezzes) but the upgrade to it is the ability to summon corpses and not be limited on how many you can summon at one time.

Either way though its a great robe.

Plague Bearer's Robe - Allakhazam

March 2001

IT still requires the coffins, however you can use the stackable ones...
There are more comments in those two links as well as more comments in the other two Velious robes links as well.

In short:

Tiny Jade Inlaid coffins need to be stackable.

A lot of ClassicQuest happening! This is already on Page 2.

Gonna move this up. Conjure Corpse using stackable Coffins is very important especially if we get a patch that changes how corpses decay and come Velious for wipes at Yelinak or Temple Veeshan or Tunare.

It appears Uthgaard changed them to not be stackable in 2011, but I can't find any post about why...

Found this post: http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...+coffin&page=2

The only evidence is some dudes comment and Guineapig posting the Lucy addition of "Stack Size" in 2005. This is retarded non-evidence.

http://lucy.allakhazam.com/itemhistory.html?id=13006

That's the history for Water Flask. It also had StackSize 20 update in 2005. A line of data they had to add to all stackable items because they began to introduce items with stack sizes other than 20 (5,10,20,50,100,200,500).

Coupled with the evidence above of many in-era comments about the reagent for Conjure Corpse (Tiny Jade Inlaid Coffins), this needs to be reverted to Stackable.

What more digging is necessary? Every post from the 4 Velious Necro robes state you can use the stackable coffins with the clicky.

None state "newly stackable" and the only reason it was changed in the past is because Uthgaard decided to, and the decision was reinforced based on BAD ClassicQuesting (referencing the Stack Size change history without understanding all stackable Items had that time stamp).

The item was always stackable. That's the purpose of it being a different spell from Summon Corpse.

I always laugh when I read bug threads like these. Classic necros really dropped the ball.

Bump bump bump.

All high level Necros should have stacks of coffins and EEs, ready to corpse summon a raid. Going to be very important in NToV especially if they fix Rogue hide/sneak.

We had some people with alt necros and velious robe parked at NTov zone in that would just load up bags worth of coffins for those late night NToV CRs [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Fairly sure the original coffins didn't stack, and the big deal with the tiny ones that came out in Kunark was that they stacked.
