Default New players
My girlfriend and I are going to start playing either tonight or this weekend. I think we settled on a Cleric Warrior combo. I heard the server needed clerics and an extra tank could never hurt.

Anyway I just wanted to ask if anyone could spare anything to help get us started out. Bronze .. a decent weapon... whatever it may be. Thanks in advance.

it's like you make the atomic bomb (server) and you don't want to let other countries (guilds) have nuclear secrets (under the radar information). it's gm's business and no one else's or else everyone gets nuked. letting Iran or North Korea beta test and keep the successful nukes, makes other countries uncomfortable.

You'll need to apply for an IP exemption if you're on the same network as well.

One step ahead of you =) Thanks for the thought though. They approved it already. I'll be on as Hambone (Ogre War) I think her name is eurydia (High elf cleric)

come on guys. Let's do this true 1999 style! Use that Short Sword*! Use cloth! I found it far more enjoyable to do it from scratch and work my way up. I had shin greaves until level 50.

But whatever floats your boat, I give shit out all the time =p

Same here. Loved saving up the coppers for a full set of cloth (or leather or whatever), and wielding a cracked staff or rusty sword until I earned the right for the uber stuff (like fine steel, lol).

L1-15 untwinked and ungifted...one of the very best parts of EQ imho.

That said, I can give you stuff too if that's what you want to do - just send me a tell.
