The unique factor here, is that because of covid nobody is going to the club at the rate we used to, or eating out, so they are saving more money.
I think this is creating an illusion the working class is using to subsidise the strikes and labor shorteges we're seeing right now. But what they dont know is that what they're doing is eating through any savings the pandemic may have given them, and when they run out as the pandemic comes to an end ( or if not we collapse for other reasons ) they will come to realize that they are desperate to go back to work, but it's not as easy to get a job as it was before. So it creates a unique bubble to screw up that house of cards you describe lol

I'm not sure the above situation will make people more likely to sell Microsoft* than buy it. Which is ultimately the only thing that moves a stock price. The very fact that the vast majority of stocks are owned by the top 10% who are likely to be fine, means that they aren't going to have to sell them.
*Just an example stock that is considered relatively safe in the long term.

So I found out why there was that sting on the Exxon executive:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPe6c9cBc3E It's part of Biden hitting Manchin hard for fucking with his legacy. You can skip to the commercial part if you don't like Kyle Kulinskii. I don't particular like him and he agrees with me all the damn time.

Kyle Kulinski is a great example of how low the bar is to be a popular political commentator.
I mean if Joe Rogan isn't convincing enough for you. Edit: the ad was great though

Actor Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that killed one woman and injured a man on the New Mexico set of the movie "Rust," Santa Fe County authorities said.
That's so fucked up. | ||

I don't get how someone puts a god damn live bullet in a prop gun by mistake. That's a manslaughter level mistake right there.
