Fascism revolves around a victim complex. The movements come up with reasons why the majority group in the country is being victimized by evil minorities.
There is about 25-30% of any given population that basically have fascist psychologies. Just give them that chance and they will enthusiastically victimize others -- rationalizing that they are protecting themselves. A few ways to spot a fascist: They suck up to those in power and look for "safe" scapegoats. You guys seen this asshole in every EQ guild. Kissing ass to the leader and the officers, piling on to someone who screwed up at every opportunity. They tend to view the world as some zero-sum game for survival. Strong on the believe there is something inherently good about conformity. I've seen this personality on the left. There the assholes trying to round up the rednecks from the jan 6 riot. No they won't criticize wallstreet, yes they will punch down on poor hogs. I just tend to think its not as dangerous. But either way, the job of American elites as I see it, is to make sure these kinds of people aren't in power. The problem is they want to hang on to way things are -- they just spent 30 years getting it this rigged and they want to keep it that way. Fascists are natural allies to those trying to suppress a population like this. | ||
