Default The Merits of Sexual Censorship

I got a bit excited when I saw the enormous penis that poped up in NYC

Qun Chen’s apartment has a view of the graphic painting.William Farrington

A towering painting depicting a shockingly life-like penis went up on the side of 303 Broome St. on Christmas Eve.

Finally something break the corporate monotony.

But then again, Lower East Side’s giant penis mural didn’t last long.

Where are we living exactly? Pleasentville? We can use a few naked women and penis murals in the city.

The Lower East Side is finally losing its giant erection — and cops want to speak to the artist, sources told The Post on Wednesday.
But no, we have cops looking for the artist instead

How does that piece of street art engage in the social conversation that is art other than being a look at me kind of thing?

Well if we can put a giant a coke can on a building, maybe it is OK to put a giant schlong on a building. They basically amount to the same thing.

Look, sex is an important outlet to prevent aggression from taking root in society. The reason the late 80s / early 90s was all dark and violent is because of the sex repression in the media.

We can see this in anthropological terms. Look at the differences between chimpanzees and bonobos

Quote:
Although often mistaken as the same animal, chimpanzees and bonobos are two separate species within the same genus. They are 99.6 percent genetically similar to each other, but have different appearances and vastly unique social behaviors. The biggest differences between the two are in how they govern their societies: Chimps are led by an alpha male and tend to maintain order through aggression, while bonobos are dominated by females and keep the peace through sex.
So keep society sexualized and female-dominate to avoid violence.

Putting nude images all over will make us more European and signals the demise of the American empire

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Ha.

JFK was assassinated by a "former" CIA agent, and I highly doubt it had anything to do with his stance on Vietnam.

Sex is also one of the lead causes of aggression and conflict between humans so your argument holds no water.

80s/90s were much less violent than the 60s/70s so 'free love' didn't really help anything.

We literally had a president of the United States assassinated because of a war we were waging in Vietnam that slaughtered an estimated 1,353,000 human beings

You might want to look at some of the hard evidence of chimps vs bonobos. The reality is they are basically the same animal with much less violence and much more sex.

But its not just about having sex. It's about creating a society where sex is controlled by the female gender. They all get together and decide as a group which males get to mate with which females. This breaks the patriarchy that exists with chimps. Females don't work with each other in this society and males bully females into sex to prove their social position.

It wasn't the flower generation that sent troops to Vietnam. They were pretty much against it from what I recall. But they had yet to inherit society's leading positions. We have lost far less people in war compared to before since Boomers/Gen X have been in charge.

That's more bc the nature of warfare changed thanks to atom bomb, technical advancement, and work done in early 1900s to set us up as an imperial influence working thru multilateral Puppet governments, while using propaganda to convince the American public we aren't imperial, are only spreading freedom, etc. Large scale warfare is too costly and our foreign policy encourages covert and shadow ops over flat out attacks.
