Default Possible bug? Mobs Aggroing through building walls

My friend just got aggroed through the wall of the Inn in the Oasis by a Sand Giant and killed. The door wasn't open so there was no LOS. Aren't mobs not supposed to aggro into an Inn like that?

Certain buildings have nearly invisible gaps between walls and roofs that NPC's can sometimes draw line of sight through. Unfortunately, the emu does its best with the building assets but they aren't perfect.

Walls mean nothing in Norrath. Just pretend like they aren't even there and you'll be safer.

So is indoor. In Upper Guk I aggroed numerous frogs through the tunnel walls that run between the dead side entrance and the "liquor barrel room" to the north. You could see where the holes were if you hang around long enough, you'll see a frog with a swimming animation slowly pushing its way through the walls.

Why does this sound so creepy to me?
