Question Magician Pets and armor

New to EQ again...for the 100th time...and am loving it. Quick question though about mage pets and AC.

How much does AC effect dmg and is it worth it to give pets AC items?

Do pets equip all slots or just one of each? (ie only one finger, one earring, one bracer)

Thanks!

Never noticed any real difference but to be honest AC items for your pets are useless: solo you will chain/recall them and in group chances are he won't be doing the tanking so little point equipping them. The items you could consider to give to your pets are resists items (although that is an expensive thing to do and I'm not 100% sure they benefit from them) or 2 handers at low level to boost their damages.

As far as slots are concerned and AFAIK, pets have the same slots as a regular character.

It makes a pretty big diff in my experience. I give them any spare bronze/chain etc that i get as its just gonna rot anyway.
