Default The Solution: Natural Law

Dearest Friends,

Although it’s clear as day now for all to see how exceedingly close we are to a resolution of our current predicament to anyone who has cast their eyes upon the UN recently.

I find it my civic duty to propose what will assuredly be the final momentous result of The 2020 Raid Suspension. And I’m honestly as personally surprised myself by it as all of you will certainly be.

Firstly: and observation. Look what happens. Anyone with two or more kids or two or more pets will recognize what natural scientists have conclusively posited on the competitive behavior of all animals under every kingdom or genus.

The larger rat, when wrestling with the smaller rat
Must let the smaller rat win one out of three.
... If he wants anyone to wrestle with him. Otherwise the smaller rat will quit playing and they might not even continue their friendship.

Only in the disconnected dualistic galaxy brain of a human would it appear honorable to be more vindictive and less conciliatory than a rat or other plain animal.

But I know that we few here are capable of a much higher consciousness than the common man. And it is plain now for us all to see the one server rule that would solve all of our problems:

If you win a target twice in a row then you concede the next spawn.

1) Find out a long term server wide rule for Tunare? Win two Tunares in a row = concede next Tunare

2) Come up with an agreement for Ring War? Win two Ring Wars in a row = concede the next Ring War

3) Petitions should only be for major violations? What’s there to petition? You win the last two CTs so sit this one out brosef.

4) A plan on how to deal with a contested rooted TOV? If a ToV target gets killed twice in a row by somebody then they concede the next spawn

5) Multiple forum petitions trying to get guilds in trouble for doing tactics that have been used for years? A tragic consequence of having never before achieved our final form: if you win a pair you concede the next

6) Hostility? Literally every animal that isn’t an anti social loaner is able to maintain long term relationships by following this one rule: if you win twice you concede the next.

7) Specific Raid Mob Rules: If needed? LMFAO we got one rule to rule them all! Win two concede one!

Project 1999 has historically followed a cruel and inhumane pattern:

One guild dominates and takes everything.
Other guild(s) get nothing and resentment builds.
Dominant guild gets lazy bored or whatever.
Other guild(s) start competing.
Dominant guild is shocked at loosing anything and resentment builds.
Petitions fly. GMs suspend everyone. Casuals get some chances.
Then the cycle repeats.

Friends. It is time. Time to break the cycle.
Winner take all attitudes hurts everyone’s feelings - even the winners - because like any retired sportsman can tell you: you can’t stay on top forever.

Win a mob twice, then concede the next spawn.

Then your only problem will be convincing the wife your not cheating on her.
And convincing your boss you are actually still getting work done.
Because your walking around in a good mood all the time.

But what about the vocal minority who only enjoy the game as a medium to troll and exlcude other players? Won't you think about their right to have fun?

So guild #1 gets 2/3 of all spawns and guild #2 gets 1/3 of all spawns. How does that change anything?

Oh yeah, that's pretty clever. Like the olympics or sports franchises, typically when you win the championship twice you go easy the next time because participation is more important than competing.

Also, the whole officiating nonsense is clearly outdated as well. Should have the athletes work it out amongst themselves, and should they fail to do so, it's probably because all the athletes are toxic and awful and has nothing to do with pushing the boundaries of competition. It's really all coming together now, how were we so dumb to miss this.

Ah yes, comparing p99 players to professionally compensated athletes. I think we know where you stand on this.

The rats are smarter and more socially adept than the neckbeards locking down content especially when it's just released.

Quit comparing neckbeards to rats. Rats are capable of sharing.

10 years in, it's like people are just starting to understand and vocalize these issues.
EQ, in its rawest form, is/was/will be toxic. That's why QoL improvements were made and implemented almost two decades ago!
