The key is to get bold and pay for that extra hour to explore outside the bay.

I hope you have a great time on vacation tonight sir!
Ty! I wanted to go further, but my fam rented one of those SolarCat boats, the ones that putz around at 2mph, so slow I could row my yak with my hands and stay ahead of it. I could put my face in the water and blow bubbles to move my yak and stay ahead of it. Well anyway, it broke down despite the fact the sun was shining at full noon on its solar panels. So I waited with them to be rescued by the staff coming out on a boat. They got their ride free tho

I went from being in a dinosaur phase as a kid to being in a shark phase. I studied them and learned enough about them to be afraid of them and then had recurring shark nightmares for like a decade lol. So if any shark is near me in a yak, I’m going to let out my defense mechanism of ink like octopus do, and shit myself

Two year old tolerated 7 full innings of a baseball game. Was excited to make it past 1st inning; never imagined we'd get to inning 8!!

That's better than leveling up on the last item of your epic gear.

Visited the town of Baarle in the Netherlands/Belgium. In the south of netherlands there's a weird "island" where the inside is officially Belgium for some reason, yet it's completely surrounded by the Netherlands. And the border is drawn as if by a drunk guy. You can walk through 5 border crossings in a stretch of about 500 meters. Here's a house that straddles the border. I guess when you live there you have to choose which country you want to be a part of. Europe is funny.
