Default More Help for Innoruuk OOE

The quest More Help for Innoruuk offered by Kaglari in Grobb appears to be out of era. On P99, there was some question as to its status.

The quest isn't found in the following quest lists, despite each of them having an entry for the preceding quest (Majik Power) offered by Kaglari:
- Allakhazam - Dec 2001 questlist with an entry for Majik Power
- Everlore - Aug 2001 questlist with an entry for Majik Power
- EQLizer - Aug2001 questlist with an entry for Majik Power
- EQ-Online - Jan 2000 questlist with mention of Majik Power quest (See: Troll Shaman newbie quest)

It seems unusual that the initial quest would be documented in all 4 instances but not the follow-up.

This comparison of EQSpoiler snapshots (Jan2003 vs Mar2003) shows Kaglari offering the quest just after the move to Neriak though the entries themselves weren't captured (See: Deathfist Slashed Belts).

We see Treskar is another troll accepting belts after the move (Treskar No. 3). His variant offered different faction adjustments from Kaglari's quest.

It seems the quest was initially offered by Bregna in Grobb sometime in Luclin or with the launch of PoP in Oct 2002.

Also, anyone else notice that Bregna in the shaman guild in Grobb now asks for Deathfist Belts? Maybe this one has been for a while and I just missed it, but it's new to me.
The capture is dated May 2003, but Bregna is mentioned as still being in Grobb. Chat logs in the thread are dated Nov 2002 with discussion of the newly added PoP quest, Aid Garuuk, involving Bregna. I believe Bregna accepts Deathfist Belts on TAKP also, as expected for the era.

With the trolls' move to Grobb in Feb 2003, the quest appears to have been moved to Kaglari as a follow-up to Majik Power. This may have been because Bregna started offering a new quest, Bregna's Big Mistake, which was a replacement for Skeletons in the Closet quest offered by Urako in Grobb, giving new trolls starting in Neriak a chance to obtain the Kaglari Mana Doll.

This is basically the revamped Kaglari doll quest for newbie/lowbie trolls now that they live in Neriak. It starts with Bregna in the Neriak Foreign Quarter and involves killing various mobs in different zones to get riddle clues to turn in to Zeek to get back what he stole from Bregna (or similar, not 100 percent up on the backstory for this one.)
For whatever reason, Allakhazam didn't add More Help for Innoruuk to its database until Feb 22, 2005 (We see Majik Power was also added to replace the erroneously named "Froglok Meat" entry seen in earlier ZAM captures). This is before the trolls moved back to Grobb in August 2005, so we see the quest being offered by Kaglari in Neriak Foreign Quarter:

- Prior to ZAM update (Jan2005) vs After ZAM update (Mar2005)

By March 2006, possibly as early as Aug 2005 with the trolls' return to Grobb, the quest was apparently shifted back to Bregna.

Quest update

This quest is now given by Bregna in the back of the shaman guild in grobb
In Feb 2022, we see the Allakhazam page for Majik Power updated to note that offering more help to Kaglari no longer advances the quest for Deathfist belts, confirming the switch above.

Not sure why, but the next quest is from Bregna. Talking further about more help with Kaglari does not seem to have more text - or we can't find the right phrase.
-----

So it seems P99 inherited the post-Neriak state of Grobb quests. Wista's quest, Wolf Meat for Wista, was added in Neriak and removed upon her return to Grobb, so P99 did not have the quest initially. More Help for Innoruuk was added back to Bregna on the return to Grobb, and she was offering the quest on P99 initially (judging from the P99 forum posts at the top). Treskar's line of quests (No. 1-4) were added in Neriak and didn't return to Grobb; they appear to have never been on P99 (based on a P99 forum search).

I think you're right. EQ Spoilers has this as a "new quest" related to the move from Grobb to Neriak:

Quest Update - J.C. Smith

It's 3:06 AM but I promised you a quest update so here it comes. Please note that on the new Troll quests they are listed as coming from Grobb but are actually given in Neriak Foreign Quarter. This was done in case these quests move again so I can simply batch move rather than pick through dozens of Neriak quests to find them.

I also went through and changed a good number of quests which were changed in the move from Grobb to Neriak. A good number of other quests(not listed here) had their quest items changed to include items from Nektulos and some have also changed the originating NPCs. These new quests come from various locations but all revolve around the recent changes or upcoming Ykesha changes.

New Bestiary: Gargh ~ Zok Crikk ~ Dar Forager Lumun.

New Quests: Dwarf Heads ~ Wista ~ Ranjor's Axe ~ Deathfist Slashed Belt(Kaglari) ~ Deathfist Slashed Belts(Treskar) ~ Treskar's Tunic ~ Treskar's Weapon ~ Snake Egg Pie ~ Troll Brews ~ Pelt Upgrades ~ Gandak's Dissapearance.
