Quest Issue: Thunderforged Earring should have an Old Version in Classic Era

Thunderforged Earring takes a class 1 mana battery and can be combined in box of the void. I did a little research and there should be a version with 2 charges of careless lightning. I'm assuming this version was changed in the July 19, 2000 patch with other sky items or with the November 15, 2000 sky patch fixing items that weren't dropping, but I haven't been able to find any specific details.

do you right click this like kunark armor, have charges like raincaller, or just random proc?

i heard they are taking the charges away from all plain of air quest items and replaceing them with infinate charges has anyone else heard this


I could not find an uploaded picture of the old version, I assume because of the difficulty and nature of the quest at the time. I did look into the item database and found it is flagged to be rechargeable with a class 1 mana battery which is further evidence this item at one point had charges.
