Default Clicking In Character Select Screen crashes back to desktop and runs eq windowed

When in the character select screen pressing Enter world for example dumps me back to desktop and puts eq into a windowed mode. Going back into the window and pressing alt-enter gets me back into full screen but as soon as I press enter world it happens again. This also happened during character creation when trying to spend skill points. The only way out is to end task, set resolution lower and then load eq again.

The issue seems to be resolution related. If i go back to one of the lower resolutions I can then get into the game, 1280x1024 seems to work.
The resolution I have set is 1920x1080 which if I can manage to get into the game runs just fine.

OS windows 7 64bit
Video Card Raedon HD 5670
Video Driver Version 8.881-110728a-122939C-ATI
Monitor Asus VW246

Same thing happens to me. I'm also running Win 7 64bit, and an ATI Radeon HD 4850x2.

When I get to char select and click anything, the game goes to windowed mode and minimizes. I can restore the window fine (in windowed) and load in, and once I'm in I maximize.

I've had the same issue on my last two installs of Windows 7 64 bit.

Running Windows 7 64 and the same thing happens to me.

When I'm actually in the game and I click near to the edge of the screen..it throws me back to the desktop. I then have to open up the windowed EQ and then press ALT-Enter to get back. Lowered the res to 1600 but same thing happens. Not tried 1024 etc.

Running a Nvidia card.

I'm having a similar problem, but it only happens when I alt-tab out of the game and then come back on to find the game in windowed mode. Windows 7 64-bit. ATI Radeon HD 6850 card

Use ALT+O instead of O.
