Default Memory Error (might help someone)

Hi

Ok so my laptop decided to have a fit one day and i had to reinstall windows eq the works..

From this once I had done the parts required to get into EQ i then kept getting this random memory error.. blah bla blah "0x10001c6b" blah blah blah "0x00000018".... this worked for me (currently running windows )

Firstly Stop bashing your keyboard.. doesnt help [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] ish//

Download Duxa all in one and click on the first option.. for the purposes of getting into the game i set my resolution to 800x600 and went for windowed mode (I had more success in the end loading in on windowed mode.

You Can also go to your EQ directory go onto the eqclient.ini file and change a few parts...

WindowedMode=TRUE

Width=800 Height=600

With all this done you may then go to your shortcut click and get the same issue (running windows 7) again this may lead to hitting the keyboard.. but do not dispair!

Then with all the above right click on the short cut and click run as administrator.. and for me this then worked.

I have also helped a few other peole using this same system and it worked as well!!

I assume that this may be common knowledge however i thought this may help someone anyway!

Once i logged into game i was able to change to full screen and set the resolution to make sure it was compatible with my current resolution and since then (touch wood) works fine.

HOOOOWever!!! if all the above has not work i would suggest checking your RAM there are a few systems online for free which you can burn to a disk and run.. if there is an issue with this.. i assume.. change RAM.. no idea! lol

Anyway hopefully this may help someone out [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
