Hmmm, interesting. I asked because I knew, vaguely, that antivirals are harmful to the liver or kidneys, depending on where they were metabolized. Thanks for the info

He’s called a fascist because...
...that's the current political insult flavor of the day.

George Orwell wrote in 1944 that "the word 'Fascism' is almost entirely meaningless ... almost any English person would accept 'bully' as a synonym for 'Fascist'"

He was being nice. What he means is "any fucking imbecile".

Here are some tenets of fascism:

anti-conservatism
the creation of a nationalist dictatorship to regulate economic structure
the expansion of the nation into an empire
mass mobilization

So yeah, Trump is doing the opposite of that. Pro-conservatism, less regulations, pulling back troops, and none of this Fascist Kennedy Youth Corps like before from previous presidents.

You might call him authoritatian. That's his style. Our government structure is designed to deal with guys like that, it's fine. But if you call him a fascist you're just calling yourself stupid.

Yeah I remember when I was six and I didn't get my way. Fuckin assholes should just DIE.

Sincerely, a sane person.

And yes, history is full of cunts who deserved to die. They generally did things to deserve such concentrated ire though. Like, ya know, genocides or mass starvation of millions of people as seen in soviet russia.

What is the case against trump? He is very rude and bad, and he said pussy grabber once or something, and I really don't like his hair, and he said something about mexico or haiti and it was very ignorant and bad. Let's pray for his literal death based on that, everyone! Like jesus christ, go live somewhere else in the world. Perspective is good. America is not the only place in the world.
200,000 Americans died because of the decisions made by him, his administration, and his cultists who followed his example.

Really, I wish him all the compassion he has shown others.

Also, he is a literal tyrant who has threatened to flout the results of a fair election and try to steal it using the Supreme Court and congress. If that happens it is the duty of every American to walk down to Washington and water the tree of liberty. Maybe the rona' will save us a step.

Those are not the generally accepted tenets of fascism. It would be helpful if you knew anything at all about history or politics before open your gaping asshole of a mouth.

Biden wins by a smidgeon, or it is otherwise unclear like Bush v Gore, it goes to the supreme court or house, they pick Trump, liberals bend over like a bunch of cucks, the women of america wear a funny hat for a day and then go right back to browsing instagram

Fascism resembles modern American liberalism much more than its conservatism.

Fascism, in its Nazi or Italian form, is the belief in the nation state as a brotherhood of man, with "man" being the people of the dominant culture/race. Those people enjoy generous social benefits, universal healthcare, massive education investment, strong government oversight and investment in physical and social infrastructure to ensure fairness and equality of opportunity. Free enterprise is allowed, but only when conducted with proper values, and businesses deemed parasitic or exploitative are nationalized by the government.

Obviously not all these ideals were lived up to by Italy and Germany, and nazis were immensely corrupt, but fascist countries were very well run especially compared to their pre-war predecessors.

Compare this to conservative America which earnestly believes, not in the free market, but in the unfettered power of corporate syndicates, with its politicians mostly concerned with looting lower and middle class wealth and opportunity to make life easier for billionaires.

Honestly it's an insult to fascism.

So one, you're arguing with people who decided they are the arbiters of "fair share" and who should pay what and who should have access to what. So you know, ideologues, proto-communists really. They're not rational, it's all dogma and as you pointed out, outrage, name calling and hate as soon as you step on their worldview.

You get a clue to their ignorance when they say stuff like "unimaginably wealthy". Yeah for them. They can't imagine having that much money or property or holdings. It's mind-boggling! Inconceivable!

Two, they're ignorant. They think money is a zero-sum game. They think people are poor not because of circumstances or because they're lazy or stupid but because other people have too much of it. Poor people can't get food at the foodbank because Bill Gates is holding all the dollars. That's literally how they view the economy. That because some people have control over huge properties or corporations or other holdings, that's why they suffer. Because there is a shortage of money.

It's all based in jealousy. People today live better than ever. Our most poor have resources unimaginable just a couple of generations before. But because they turn on their TV and see a guy on a solid-gold jetski and they start frothing at the mouth. Now their lives are so much worse because they know that.

Talking to you is like talking to a parrot that's slowly learning phrases it hears on the television.
