Default Blue or Green

I made a few characters on green. My son made his on blue. And we just realized it when we decided to play together. (all characters are low level)

What is the difference ?..

Either can remake and go on....but will we struggle for groups on either? Struggle for gear?

Thanks in advance...

Blue launched in like 2010. It’s the older, more established server. It has kunark and velious enabled, a congested end game raid scene with lots of drama but there are an absurd amount of great cheap items available. Population is mostly high level players or twink fungi alts.

Green launched in like 2019. It’s the newer, trendy server. It has kunark enabled, a congested end game raid scene with arguably less drama than blue. It’s more congested in the leveling path which means more groups but less camps available. Items are more expensive than blue because the server is newer. Population is more spread out in terms of level ranges.

Happy choosing!

In olden terms I’d describe blue as Fennin Ro server and green as a regular one.

Blue has more content, cheaper gear, and nicer players. You won't struggle to gear up but you might struggle to find groups. They're not impossible to find but only a few zones are populated with lower level grouping. Good news is it's pretty easy to solo to 60 with almost any non-cleric class and duoing to 60 is even easier.

I personally made the switch to blue since it seemed more relaxed, most everyone's already done everything, and more camps are open. I can count on going to places without stepping on people's toes. Also since I'm playing a wizard atm, and mostly soloing, the better and cheaper gear helps a bit.

It's still a dream of mine to one day see a raid and earn an epic and I just feel like I might have an easier time of that on blue.

Green may have more groups but gear on blue is easy to get. One set of crustacean gear on a tank and you can make it to 50 pretty easily. They only cost like 100-250 a piece. Maybe 300-350 for bp.
