It's a free game, it just released as a full game out of open beta (That started in Jan. of this year). I started playing it in Closed beta since Summer 2012. It's like a modern Diablo II, its very fun - the fact that it is F2P should not scare you - its not a pay-to-win shop game, the only thing you really need to buy from the item store is extra stash tabs, its not like you're gimped on stash space -you have 10 full tabs which is all I really need to save items to pass to alts/etc. It has two game types, normal and HC similar to D2. It always has certain leagues that are open as well for 3-4 month races based on the highest level of each class etc. 3-hour races, pvp races, etc. These limited time leagues give points if you are the first to explore an area during the race and if you are the highest level (In the top 10), you will get points towards items at the end of each season. I honestly just play on Hardcore I have tons of items and uniques, and a level 62 wand templar and my new Ranger Ethereal Throw build. Look at the PoE skill tree if you haven't played. Pretty decent game. Too slow for my taste as a hack n slasher.
