mac install help

Hey guys,

I've been playing P99 on my mac for a few years now with no issues through wineskin. Used this guide to get it set up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xfNbEUVweM.

I recently updated my OS to High Sierra 10.13.2, and now my wine isn't working anymore. I get an error that says "The program eqgame.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience", along with the text "This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check http://www.codeweavers.com/comparability for tips about running this application".

Everything was working just fine until I updated the OS. I've tried to reinstall everything from scratch and still get the same error.

I'm not a very computer savvy dude, especially when it comes to macs, so i'm hoping someone out there can help. Any ideas?

Fixed this problem for me.

Yup using winetricks to set the video memory to 2048 and unchecking auto detect GPU for direct3d in screen options fixes it. Note the 2048 memory need not actually match how much memory you have. In my case I have 8 GB.
