Default Spell scribing too fast?

I recall from my classic days that scribing a spell took a decent chunk of time. It's near instantaneous currently.

Scribing spells to book was always fast if I recall right. It was memorizing them which took long, especially if the spell is closer to your level.

This is just recollection which is hazy from 20 years ago though!

It definitely should be slow to scribe, but as it is, it's hardly game breaking (or having any incidence on the game really).

Apparently it's a client-side thing, Haynar tried to hack something about it but gave up in order to avoid wasting valuable reverse engineering grey-matter-hours on marginal yet difficult stuff.
