Gun-rights supporters, feel banning or restricting public carry anywhere violates the right to self-defense recognized in the case Heller. They argue that the need for protection can arise in 'any' place.

Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney lining up for the Bruen case says, “If you concede, as I think the historical record requires you to, that states did outlaw guns in sensitive places, can’t we just say Times Square is a sensitive place?” -- This was during the oral argument.

Are the conservative majority hinting at their next big change? Will 'sensitive' places where guns are currently not allowed soon open to carry? Note that sensitive areas will conveniently never mean in a court house because it is classified as providing 'adequate security.'

What constitutes as sensitive areas?

Yes Voting pole locations count as sensitive locations. Supreme court voting rights changed in 2013 "gutted – discriminatory voting policies preventing harm to voters."

Good thing the US according to the Supreme Court no longer practices discriminatory voting methods.

'....Oh say like an armed militia intimidating voters with their guns at poling stations stating they need them for their 'adequate security' that isn't being provided at the pole station.

What else constitutes as 'sensitive' areas, you say?

Namely Churches and pretty much any public place that doesn't have established 'adequate security.'

Town halls in Michigan are probably wondering when the militia will be legally visiting with their long guns again *rolleyes* Because.... that went over so well the last time.

It is amazing how stupid republicans who think 'this way' don't understand that Police will now be more jumpier than ever. Not knowing if the person has a gun.

Nothing like visiting a fire fight NOT knowing who is the criminal in the mass of shooting.

You dont have to argue that you need protection in "any" place anymore. That is a fact now.

because its a false reason to begin with.

-Country boy had a shotgun put in his hands at age 9

vs.

-City folks who know gangs have guns

Errybody fears something or was taught to fear it due to their circumstances.

Republicans wouldn't be stupid enough to blame Biden for the consequences of his predecessor's actions, right? It's not like a million people died because some obese pedophile said the pandemic would just miraculously disappear.
why did biden use his predecessors pandemic plan for the next 2 years then?

cuz tromp (prior to covid) tore up obama pandemic plan and defunded it. so biden didn't have the resources to do anything more than the scraps tromp left him to work with.

Voting, how to make you feel like you've done something after doing nothing.
