Default Jaded Velium vs Velium Fire

I'm assuming Velium Fire overall better, but I was wondering at mid levels (specifically 39-50 when my healing is as good as shamans and druids) do you guys think the 60 extra mana is worth the loss of 2 ac and 70 hp from the switch?

Probably a stupid question, the only reason I think it might be is because I already have a ton of hp and AC naturally but a lower mana pool.

Short answer is "No, stick with Velium Fire."

Better answer: If you're acting as tank, the extra hit points and AC on the Velium Fire will give greater overall benefit to you. If you're a Paladin you probably spend most your time tanking, so the Velium Fire rings are a safe choice. However, in situations where you're acting as a supplemental healer or some other swing role**, the additional depth of mana pool can come in handy. I don't think I'd go out and buy the mana rings, but if I happened to have them for some reason I wouldn't get rid of them, either.

**That "swing role" often includes a great many raiding situations in low to mid-range guilds where low-50's hybrids might show up to a raid and not really be high enough to tank effectively but still want to contribute in some manner.
