It's funny how many self-absorbed idiots jump in trying to claim "I was right all along!"

Post-Zagum (Zag was holding TMO together for a long time before Zeelot's 'official' departure) TMO kicked the shit out of IB so hard that they had to do a major merge and reform under a different tag (after losing consistently for the last year). They never had a real leader the whole time (mostly because all the smart people were too smart to want the job), and they still were the top guild here for what... 1.5 years roughly?

Eventually the erosion of leadership was bound to tear it down, as the number of capable intelligent people in the guild willing to step up during raids gradually diminished, while the do-little leadership sat around and... did little.

Anyone who has raided competitively knows how rare a real leader is, and knows how difficult things are to maintain without one. The accomplishments of post-Zagum TMO are a testament to the number of quality skilled players the guild had at it's core to maintain success in a leadership vacuum for so long.

Congrats Rampage. Enjoy your time in the sun.

tiggles is so funny. he was all for the FE merger when it was happening, now they are the curse. marksman is the biggest baddest RMT'er alive, even though his guild leader disbanded TMO because of a huge RMT ban wave in TMO. doesnt matter if it was just froovy and internmode, those 2 bad apples spoiled the whole bunch

you can say the raid rules suck and your "real" leader is banned and thats why you play red. but you guys really lost...some actual competition came and in you guys crumbled so hard

Hate to break it to you, but TMO killed TMO (with a little help from Sirken). You guys didn't start winning until a substantial portion of the core decided to move on.

90% of the players that got shit done and beat IB for the last year+ aren't around any more. In the end EQ is just a war of attrition. In that respect, congrats, you won for now.
