You're right though, it's not nearly as simple as I put it.

IB killed just as many Class C/FFA targets as TMO the final month before they reformed, http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...&postcount=412. I don't even need to tell you how TMO did their final month for very obvious reasons. So yeah, competitive pressure is always there I guess, whatever. But they don't compare.

See I think the internal problems in TMO caused that dominant week for Rampage. I don't think it happened the other way around.

But the competitive pressure definitely plays a role.

Moving forward I just hope momentum is determined less by petition-quest and ignorant staff decisions, and more by the players on the pad. Good luck to all those still neckbearding it up.
