AOE bard-swarming was never affected by that, was it? Just the "normal" dots.

Being able to do full dmg single target dots without having to fear gives you absolute control over any non casting mob and quite a bit of DPS. All of this nonstop and mana free.

Bards PBAOEs will never be effected by this anyway. Its for single target DoTs only.

Yes but you can’t pbaoe kite in a dungeon until Kunark, you can however snare and triple dot in extremely tight quarters doing wonderful DPS risk free

You can also fear kite as a bard with the best snare and 3 dots. Can land 3 dots, fear, snare, over and over. Fall back every now and then if the mob starts to get too far away from your safe halllway.

Fear is a waste of a song if dots do full dmg without it. Unless a caster.
