It still has true detective s1 level script and acting

I’m more bitter about Carnivale. I really enjoyed that show. I could see how a lot of people would hate it though

Maybe i'll put deadwood on the end of that list.

Keep in mind, whatever I'm currently watching will take control of me and influence everything you read on p99 boards so it's important i'm kept in the dank
I’m very cautious about what I compare to td1

Deadwood is definitely up there

Yup.

Carnivale was top-notch as well.

Both ended too soon, but we got trolled for Deadwood return possibilities for years. In fact, there was some sort of announcement in recent years that got the trollicopter fired up again.
