Yep. Healthcare was much better before they ever touched back in 2010.

The cost of healthcare was 1/3rd what it is now, and it actually covered stuff without huge deductibles and sizabke copays.

In retardville. Everything was fine with skyrocketing costs and huge swaths of the population uninsured. Insert a bunch of anecdotal stories about people losing great healthcare plans...because thats all they got -- stories that probably aren't true and a whole lotta fact proving their system is worse.

The adults in the healthcare conversation understand costs were going up and something had to happen. The only reason we got Obamacare was to spare the CAPITALISTS. To appease the private insurance industry. No one else likes the results.

But weak minded ideologues like pervert reality to make it all Obama and the democrats fault. Like we can just get rid of it and it will all be sunshine and rainbows and Reagan again.

But it wont. That's why Trump didn't just repeal the shit. He did nothing. Because there is nothing capitalist can do to make this system better for anyone.

Who here is actually ready to see the stock market fall substantially because private health insurance is eliminated?

I wish the corporate Democrats were just honest and said that's why they don't want to do medicare for all. The fact is -- an entire industry would be eliminated and its going to be a bit of painful adjustment.

No one talks about this because politicians are still avoid the subject of private health insurance in public.

Thats the problem though. We need to bury an industry and people that have their health insurance (often paid on company dollar and slowing the economy) really would rather not. But unless everyone gets those cadillac plans..or at least like 60% of people...its not sustainable from a public opinion perspective.

Do you think the gig economy generation is going to be getting those god damn health plans? Nah -- if nothing else private insurance is doomed once the boomers pass.

This countries economy is likely irreparably fucked, when people on state welfare [olds] are taking part time min wage jobs [kids] need to go to [school] and start a life, so they can buy their grandkids their 3rd [xbox] or [pizza hut gift card] that they can't afford along with their [insulin copay] on their [pension]. It makes one wonder why [gang violence] is on the rise.

Time for thunderdome

Like everything is abused and exploited by the top to milk as much money from the populace as possible with [total thought control through multimedia tribes].

Everyone with real wealth is offer shoring it because they don't want to live here or lose their investments to the mobs of morons, so they aren't going to be ever reinvesting in this country. Why re-purpose or build a factory or labor force in Chicago?

It is just a matter of time, and which party will be 'most demonized'.
