Returning to P99 (Necro vs Enchanter)

The bot's right. All those players doing repetitive tasks like root rotting the same mobs for 13 hours a day must be heavily sedated. A healthy person would die from boredom.

I'd say probably stay on blue. You'd have to basically start over completely if you went to green, and it's not like you'd get to experience anything new since blue and green are on the same point in the timeline now.

If you want to solo, necro is way easier I think.
Enchanter is very finicky, even as a solo.
Necros always seem to be high, drunk, or smoking pot whenever they're grinding exp on felwithe elves or qeynos guards.

I figure it's way easier to grind as necro than enchanter. Go necro.

Blue also needs the player count more at this point.

Like I need to farm something in mistmoore? Okay what exactly can I charm in this zone that competes with my necromancer pet �� lower guk is the same way, I had to help a friend with his CR. I started clearing a path on Enchanter and realized it’s taking too long, so I swapped to my necro and decimated everything with paralyzing earth / splurt and a pet that cons red to all the mobs in our way.

Was able to heal my friend if needed.

Same with farming a lot of other zones, I’m so much better off farming CT, Sol B, guards etc with my necro than I am my enchanter

My enchanter is way more fun to play, was way more fun to level, and I love the fact that groups seem happier with me around (I feel like groups want necros to do the same thing as enc but they are just worse at it). I also know Enchanter can do some crazy stuff, and a lot of times have super easy times breaking camps with my lulls and high charisma.

But my necro feels a lot more powerful a lot of times. my necro can clear all of kobold royals really fast compared to my enc, but my enchanter can solo efreeti [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] my necro cannot (maybe he can, but I never felt the need to try it)

but with an enchanter you never need to farm anything low level - you just farm high end targets and sell shit for big plat

necro is budget enchanter, limited to undead for any real damage

however, a necro + bard can keep most normal XP groups healed without any need for cleric / druid / shaman which is pretty cool when you cant find people

Tough call

If you're chasing maximum power it's Enchanter hands down

Both can be fun and engaging. Necro can solo a few cool things, but it's nowhere near what an enchanter can do in the right hands

There are some youtube videos out there that show what these classes can effectively solo at the highest levels by Prismatica and Sarleon respectively

Enchanter doesn't need gear beyond couple k in the tunnel to do enchanter things.
If your goal is easy soloing necro is much more forgiving enchanter kind of always on a knifes edge.
Necro can do some neat stuff on raids. Train outs,bone walking.
Enchanters are buff and tash bots,try to slow when all the shaman are dead

Why would an enchanter need to kill anything to cr in lower guk. Assuming dead side you just get past the bats and run found ivu..

I leveled my enchanter from nothing on red, you can do enchanter things in a starter robe and cloth armor. That's classic EQ.

Except for the whole "charm is not classic here" part. Other than that, it's totally classic.

Charming on just base stats is still hazardous.
