Last Check on EQ Bucket List
Hey everyone.
Over the last 22 years I have done many things in this game. The one item on my bucket list that I still have yet to do is get a character to 60 in the classic era (pre-Luclin). I've gotten plenty of other characters to whatever the max level was in later expansions, but never during the classic-Velious period. Are there any static/semi-static groups out there potentially looking for another member? I'm currently playing a 6 necro on green, which I am prepared to solo to 60 if need be, but can play any class on either server. I just want to hit 60 on some character eventually. I have a ton of play time available, so fitting in to your schedules won't be a problem. Shoot me a message if anyone is interested! | ||

Hey Celien!
You’ll find a group. At 6 you can go to Crushbone (if you are daring). At 13 you can hit up Unrest and group there till about 30 or you get bored and want to move about. Lots of popular places, and you have the benefit of being a fantastic solo class. | ||

Yea, should be plenty of groups out there, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Do the usual progression, Crushbone, Unrest, Oasis, Guk, Highpass Hold, Paw, CoM, Karnors, etc.

Iksar or classic Erudite necro? If Iksar just hit Kurns @ level 10. The newbie zone in FoB and Kurns is typically crawling with people you can group with. I have found many groups start organically, when they start.
Necros can solo well. Fear kiting is not how most groups drop mobs. XP would be better with a duo at least, then your pet does not eat half your XP. Don't pressure yourself to get to 60, just have fun playing. I have no characters even close to 60. | ||
