Hotkey disappears when I zone or log

I am back after a long hiatus and was trying to set up my hotkeys.

I went into my inventory and pressed the skills button. Then I selected Forage and pressed the "make hotkey" button. Then I placed the new hotkey on an empty slot in hotbar 1.

I then zoned into another area. When I was done zoning I noticed the button I just placed was gone.

I repeated this a few times and got the same results. It also happens when I log off; the button is not there when I log back in.

If you are on green, buttons 7-10 are bugged and always poof on zone. They say they might fix it some day, but some day might be when green merges to blue and you play your toons on blue.

I posted the same thing a couple days ago. I was told by some folks in game it's not a bug, and as intended because in the original game there were only 6 hot keys available. Take that for what it's worth though :-)
