Well it appears as if Trump is backing down, but he says he's temporarily opening the government for 3 weeks.

If they can't figure something out after that, it gets shut down again.

It sounds like the average leftist didn't listen to what Trump said and instead relied on CNN's headline for the complete story.

Then why open it back up for three weeks if you're willing to do it again? The dog and pony show will end without a wall me thinks. Trump's proly strategizing to shift to the Democrats more blame, a reset to the December negotiations. Also buried the Roger Stone arrest.
