I get an error message of C:/user/dektop>start eqgame patchme

says cant establish connection.

Anyone help I've intalled everything right but won't open.

You could try not using the .bat file. Make a shortcut to eqgame.exe and in the target box add patchme to the end so it looks like this:

C:\Everquest\eqgame.exe patchme

EDIT: Also, i would recommend installing it in the above directory rather than \program files\sony\everquest or whatever the default is.

There are numerous posts about this issue. I wish they would make a sticky or something. This gets brought up too often.

Don't forget to set the eqgame.exe compatibility to WinXP SP2 or SP3. I use SP3.
